I have more than 1,100 ebooks, and I count 563 currently unread. I'm pretty much set for the next five years, but I will accumulate more of them. I'm an ebook hoarder.

You can and should have as many as you want. I have close to 600 I think if not more, I don't keep track I just keep reading.

If you lot get stranded on that mythical desert island with an ereader with WiFi or 3G you'd best hope you've a book on constructing a solar charger or rudimentary generator loaded...
Not to mention a few tomes on survival. Of course, if you've a tablet you might be able to watch Gilligan's Island and get some pointers from the Professor...

I have about 6,000 ebooks. I don't expect to ever read them all, but I do so love to collect them. I consider myself to be creating an e-library rather than just a TBR pile. I'll never read everything in my county's public library, but they certainly don't have too many books!

I have over a thousand, but not yet ten thousand ebooks.
I stopped worrying about the amount and started enjoying the fact that I can meander through them to choose what I want to read at the time I want to read. I love it. I no longer have to go out somewhere to wander around a bookstore, then come home and realize that I really am not in the mood to read what I brought home. |

Well, I have somewhere over 500, and yet my amazon wish list continues to grow, so that's clearly not enough.

I have a fear (maybe a phobia) of running out of books by my top favorite authors. Sadly many are dead, so I cannot reasonably hope for more from them.
If an author has written 37 books and I am to number 30 I try not to read the rest except when I am in extreme need of a fix. May seem counter productive, but it forces me to seek out new authors and new genres as well. |
