I bought it here in Australia from Myer. Maybe it slipped through

Sure you can still use it. If not from the built-in library app (if there is one; on the T1 it's not much more than a browser shortcut), then from the web browser either on your Reader or on your PC. (In the latter case, Reader and PC need to be registered to the same Adobe ID.)

So just so I get this straight, You have the T2 which you purchased from Myer and you initially set the region on the reader to Australia and then went in and changed that setting to US ? Was US given as an option in you region list both times or only the second also have you updated your firmware yet

Yup, from Myer. I didn't actually check it the 1st time, was just playing around with it one night & thought 'I wonder if I can do this' & yes, I could. Haven't updated the firmware yet.
