Indeed. LTE is good, but really, with the speeds we have nowadays on 3.5G, I can't see anybody complaining. There are people who don't even get on cable the speeds we're getting on some 3.5G networks. Furthermore, as more people move over to LTE, there'll be less saturation on the 3G networks.

I don't think it makes much sense to include them both in the definition, but they both meet it. In the real world, good HSDPA+ speeds are around 10 mb/s and good LTE speeds are around 40 mb/s. |

I received an email from amazon today (subject: "The All-New Kindle Family") that said "The 4G device has not been authorized as required by the FCC. This device is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained." down in the fine print near the bottom of the message body.
So shipment will be delayed until FCC approval, whenever that may be. |
