I have to confess that when I got my Touch I had to read the manual to find out where the "Home" button was. I thought it was a ventilation grille .

You are not alone in that experience. Some people thought it was a microphone or a speaker. Anything but a Home button (even after failing an exhaustive search FOR a Home button). Very non-intuitive design. Product design FAIL!

Perhaps the new kindle DOES have a Home button, but this time they did a "better" job of hiding it?

That being said, my sister is looking to upgrade her Kindle keyboard which has been acting up the last few weeks. So once I see hers in action my opinions are subject to change.

I shall be missing the buttons too, but I like the rest of what I have seen/Read, so I am in (if I can, as it is not yet clear whether we will be able to order it in Europe). And I may even indulge in an amazon case this time....
