Enjoying your thoughts...cool sense of humor...

We live in a 'give it to me right away' society where ads are designed to grab our attention in ten seconds or less. To search out good literature deserves more attention.

Guess an author determines who they are writing for. An audience seeking thrills, horror, erotica, murder and intrigue wants everything to explode as they start to read. People who are seeking knowledge, the reason for their existence, life and wisdom are more likely to read further into a book that sets the stage for the tale unfolding. If an author can engage a person's mind and heart so that all their senses are awakened as the story reveals itself, the person will eagerly read on, I believe.
