I don't like the positioning of the page turn buttons on the T1. I didn't used to like touch screens, but since having had my Kindle Touch have become a "convert" to them .

One thing I do not like (on the T1) is that the power button is on the bottom. Tolerable when I am viewing in landscape mode, but for the most part, slightly annoying when I want to give it a quick tap to put it to sleep.

The Kindle's power button is on the bottom, too. I don't mind that - you don't want a power button to be somewhere that you might accidentally press it.

It's a modified version of the app for reading eBooks that's part of the Sony firmware. The T1 does not need to be rooted for this to be installed. It fixes the bug with switching fonts and adds some new features such as a clock and the ability to map your own CSS to each font option.

... and don't forget these 2 features as well:
  • define your own font size for each of the 8 zoom levels
  • change the no. of screens before each full page refresh
