Amazingly poor planning on Rakuten's part...Actually piss poor, In Japan if any new thing is famous and start to catch on ...it usually sells quite well. Here they had a golden opportunity and blew it. OF course, Sony could have done more to promote their readers as well. Tons of people read in this country, you just have to market the ereader in the right manner and with decent software....
