Just keep in mind, PS CS is NOT easy for many ppl to pick up at first. There are a gallizion and a half free tutorials on the web to help so you might want to browse them.

Also I activated my VPN back to my server, and now can see his picture, so it definitely the wifi here. Very cool work!

Because I'm running Linux and any version of Photoshop is beyond my price range, I just use GIMP.

AH... and yes the same is true of painter -- it is not cheap and it can take a lifetime to learn. I've been using it for almost 20 years now and still lots of details I have either not touched or have not learned.

I love GIMP, and used it for years... but once I started to get the hang of PS CS... not going back. I use a Mac so PS CS is an option.


Now once I am no longer a student.... well ummm.... might have to see how GIMP is doing LOL
