If you have read any of the Walking Dead comics, there was a novel written by Jay Bonansinga and Robert Kirkman about The Governor. I found it to be a pretty good read and a nifty little supplement to the comics.

Tooth&Nail by Craig Dilouie. its similar to Stephen Knights stuff but its equally excellent.
