This for sure does not occure on my M92. I have the same firmware, but white edition and different pen. My pen delivered with white M92 is white and much thinner.

Is the pen you use the original delivered with M92 or some another? I do not know what "intelligence" is incorporated in the pen, but at least theoretically different pens might behave differently...

The problem was there on both the pens.
I bought the other pen as an additional product from ereader-store.de.
I am yet to try out Kodomo's suggestions, will update tomorrow.

With 20120514 version I don't see the issue. So looks like it was a firmware
issue. I'd like to thank this forum for the great support.
