What a wild vote! As the poll-starter, I could see the results coming in, and the second day once the last few votes came in that tied everything, I was definitely surprised. Then I watched the final day of voting to see if any vote would be cast to break the tie, but none did.

It's an interesting bookend to our first year as a club. The very first month, last June, we tied and had a run-off, then didn't have a tie for the next ten months, and now are finishing the first year with another tie. And what a tie it is!

The one-day run-off poll will be up a little later.

That may or may not happen, but there also may be more or less votes in the run-off which could also change the outcome. But even if we tie again, we'll just use the final tie-breaker.

This situation does kind of make the main point of a run-off moot though, since it is mainly so that those who voted on options that didn't make the run-off can recast their vote, and we have none of those!


ETA - The run-off poll is now up.
