Is it OK if I update from ermine on fulsize EE?

I am using it from last upgrade to ermine for month or so and do not want go through manual installation of all Alps again.

ps I activated SD card in sd slot.

Of course it's okay. The long way is only for cases when the system is too messed up.

The green still picture first arrived with the EE Ermine update from Entourage and on my EE it is still there.

It is very simple, all still pictures are in green and if you copy them to a computer they produce images that are larger than I get from my Nikon DSLR. The strange thing is that video is not effected.

The problem might be caused by there being two camera drivers after the upgrade but no one is sure and most people can see it on the EE. The PE does not have and never has had this problem.

The other problem is the one that some EE users have when they shut the unit - it goes into hibernation but does not come out of it and you have to pull the battery for a short time to get the unit to work again.

edit; Just to add that the camera picture appears OK on the EE screen but the problem shows up in the taken pictures.

I can't revert from Ermine to Dingo on my EE. When starting update process with the Dingo full operating system as update.zip. I see the update screen, then 10 secs later it starts normally on my ermine.

Is there a step I miss ? I know there is no way to change our account at Entourage so is this the issue ?

No luck for me.
Steps achieved :
1) Go back to Dingo - ok thanks to Burgher (link to the unlocked version)
2) installed ermine
3) installed the combined version of the allmine version 0.3 by Burgher (04-08-2012, 07:42 PM )
on the usb I put the allmine as update.zip and the Cyanogenmod 6 HDPI zipfile as gapps.zip
At restart of the edge I skipped the registration process.
Activated the gingerbread keyboard, went to the account & sync.
Added my google account ... then : "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server"
I am stuck there, browser works fine.

Found the info of the serial file missing. After investigation :
The serial_number file exist and is a 14 byte file

Any other Idea ?

Wow! Your case is pretty much unique. Previously all s/n reported in this forum were 13-char. Your s/n was originally 12-char and the Allmine algorithm modified it to be 13-digit. So you are still one digit short. I'll have to modify the code to include support for such devices as yours.

I knew I was a master in "uniqueness" ^^

Just by adding one 0 to the digit didn't work. I suppose an algorithm is more powerfull than what I did. F2020910000248
