While we're on the topic, it seems there are no 64bit adb drivers for windows? Or at least they were not included in the package danifunker provided? Lots of people running 64bit these days, seems hard to believe...

The drivers, as downloaded from Google, has an amd64 directory and a .cat file that suggests that there is 64 bit support.

I had to modify android_winusb.inf and add the following under the appropriate section (I'm using an AMD64 CPU).
;Kobo Vox %SingleAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_2237&PID_2208 %CompositeAdbInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_2237&PID_2208&MI_01 %SingleBootLoaderInterface% = USB_Install, USB\VID_2237&PID_0FFF Once I added that, I was able to install the drivers and run adb and SuperOneClick. |

Your welcome.
![]() I see I'm having the same issue with the same book yet again. I have it bookmarked on the Vox well past the preview point and the Vox is allowing me to open the book there, so I'm going to go through this same process again. This is annoying, to say the least. It's only one book, "Heaven is for Real". Is anyone else having this problem with this particular book? |

Well, this time I did something a little different.
I logged into my Kobo library from the computer and went through the same process of going to my purchased list and bookmarking this book and so forth. However, this time on the Vox, I long pressed the book and chose the option to 'buy' it instead of removing it. Then on the Vox, I was sent to a page where there was the option to download the book. I pressed on that button and was told a free preview was being downloaded to my library. Back at the Vox library, the book is now there, and it is no longer being displayed as a preview. My bookmark remains where it was before, on chapter 4. If this happens again, I'll simply choose to 'buy' again from the Vox, without going to my Kobo library on the website via my computer and see if that works. Maybe this process can be a little simpler. |

It happened again last night, and this time all my computers were off. I long pressed the book in the Kobo Vox library and selected the option to buy the book. Again, it went to a page where the only option was to download the book. I did so, and the screen said a free preview was being downloaded. The full book was there after the download was complete. I'm going to watch and see if I get charged for either one of the downloads and if so, then I'll have to open a support ticket to get a refund. Normally when one chooses to buy a previewed book, you first get to a page where you are told the price of the book and you have to go through the steps to confirm the purchase and so forth. Re the issue with this particular book, when I've selected the option to buy after doing the long press, there is no indication that I am being charged, it just goes directly to a download page.
I've noticed this glitch occurs if I've opened another preview I have in the library. Once the Vox updates, then this particular book, "Heaven is Real" shows up in my Vox library as a preview. To avoid any possibility of my being charged and having to go through the hassle of getting a refund, however, I think if this happens again, I'm going to sideload the file and read it in another app, since I already have it downloaded on my laptop. The longer process I had initially used to correct this is too awkward to have to be doing this every day, and trying to get a credit refund from Kobo is, I've found from past experience, a huge ordeal. |
