One of my libraries - King County Library System - recently signed up for Axis 360. Not many titles and most appear to be for children. I haven't tried it out yet. It requires a Blio account linked to your library account.

Well, if Smashwords is linked to it then it'll be available to independent writers. Its won't be using epub, but it'll be available.

Which is why I said "ePUB". I see zero value in a system that uses a format not currently supported by any eReader on the market.
