HIS problem Helen and yes it seems as though between a good screen wipe and taking off the latest books I had put on I got 2 weeks out of it before it got down to 1 bar.
Im now going to put the newest books on a few at a time to see if it was a book as suggested.
Otherwise it was probably dust.
I'm just relieved that my 650 is still going strong

It's the 650 hardware that is the problem. The power button is flaky and I think is built into the motherboard, so if the button goes, the whole reader is kaput. I recommend you use the power-button as little as possible.
