The comic "singles" should have an ISSN. Not that it will help you track specific issues...

Ultimate Universe is another parallel world to the 616 Marvel Universe. What differentiates it from the other parallel universe is that Marvel published material in this world on a regular basis. :P (Marvel Zombies also originated from this universe [well, the Ultimate Fantastic Four issue introduced it].)

The way they dealt with Peter Parkers end was just terrible.

I heard about the end of Peter Parker and started reading a few issues before the end of Peter.

I will never read anything from the Ultimate series again.

I didn't care for the way Peter went out. But, with him being a pretty popular character (not just as Spiderman), I don't see him being dead forever in that universe.

Not that new.
Two words: Clone Saga.

(In both universes he has been replaced by duplicates at least once so there is no proof that Peter Parker is Peter Parker.)

Wouldn't suprise me if they went with a much younger kid precisely to leave room for Peter to come back in another year or two.

Comics rule #1: They ain't dead if you don't see the body.
Comics rule #2: Even if you see the body they still ain't dead.

Actually there has been a teaser image released of the Peter spider logo and the Miles spider logo kinda smashed together. Something changing in the Ultimate universe soon.

Maybe a return of Peter Parker?

Oh no! Spiderman and Robin!

I've been following the Miles storyline, and it's been pretty good so far, but it's strange seeing someone so young fighting crime. It's even stranger to see folks like Nick Fury encouraging someone so young in such a dangerous mode of life that carries such heavy responsibilities. You'd think he'd be saying "Come see us when you're at least 18."

Actually, what he told Peter was "When you hit 18 you're mine." (Juveniles are excluded from his control.)

Officially he *was* going to shut Miles down anyway(yeah, right!) but the kid took out a big bad so he got "a chance". (In reality, once he saw the kid can go invisible he realized trying to ground him would be more trouble than he's worth. Besides, if he gets killed it's extra ammo he can use to get control over all superhumans. Kids as well as adults.)

Besides, Ultimate Fury is a bigger power freak than 616-Dr Doom.
He's no good guy.

Robin (Jason Todd) before "The New 52" became a bit of a mess. He both died and had his death undone due to the events of "Infinite Crisis." Superboy, likewise, is also in a similar status (his corpse is buried in The Fortress of Solitude, he was revived in the 31st Century, and returned to the present) of being both dead and alive at the same time.

Nothing to add except Ultimate Spider-Man is great and about the only Marvel I can stomach these days.
