No problem - sometimes it is better just to try to keep things as simple as possible, so you get to spend more time actually reading your books

Sweetpea had a valid technical reason for really needing to wind their titles down to a minimum, but that should not be an issue you have with a Kindle touch. I recommend just try to stay mainstream as long as you can - get your title/series so it works with metadata downloads, and as you mentioned just special case any particularly long title names only when you really need to. The less time faffing around the better

Wow, I was scanning through some recent posts, and ran across this comment. I can't believe anyone is still reading on a PDA, with all the other options out there. Not that there's anything wrong with it, it just seems almost "old school" so to speak.

I used to read on my PDA, years ago, I think the last one broke about 3 years ago, and I switched to reading on my iphone. I'd had oh, 4 or 5 pda's up to that point that I'd used for reading. The dell Axim line was awesome in that regard, though a little thick/heavy, especially compared to current offerings in the general smartphone market. Even had a couple HP's originally I believe it was the 1915 and 1945 though the actual device name escapes me.
