I think I'd delete a password after 5 minutes already... Too annoying as I often read in 5 minute breaks... Even the lock screens can be annoying!

I don't even password protect my phone let alone my Kindle, probably should in the case of the phone but the Kindle I can't see the point.

Don't know how the Kindle is, but instead of a password my Sony readers have 4-digit PINs. Doesn't slow me down enough to matter.

I didn't even know it was possible to password-protect the Sony reader. I agree it would be very annoying to have to type in a PIN every time. I can see it for purchases, but my Sony has no internet connection, so you can't purchase on the device. I don't think anyone is really interested in stealing it, but if they did, I hope the thief would applaud my excellent taste in books.

I password protect the e-reader I take to work. I've got a co-worker that likes to check out anything I leave sitting out on my tool chest or work station. It's not that I think he would take my personal information, it's more like I'm worried that he might mistakenly delete whatever I'm reading.
