Thanks again for your wonderful review. If the felt shedding is just a temporary thing, that's okay.

I think cat hair collects in places because it's genetically programmed to coalesce somewhere and form another cat.

Can anyone with a cooking or postage scale give me the weight of one of these Oberon covers (with and without the stiffener)?

Are you sure there isn't any of the PRS-T1 housing which extends above or below the case? What is the corner protection like, and how durable are the straps which hold in the ebook reader?

Three of the straps are leather. They are very durable. The other strap is elastic, and Oberon gives you a spare in case you need to replace it in the future. Oberon is a high quality product, which is why their cover is so expensive. None of the ereader sticks out from the cover. It has good corner protection. The edges are quite stiff.

Oberon weight:

232g - with both stiffeners
204g - without

For comparison purposes the Sony standard case is 83g and the PRST1 itself is 165g when not in any cover.

As you can see, the Oberon is beautiful but adds a lot of weight and bulk.
