And it'll probably be amusing to look at the Kindle Bestseller lists for the next few days. Although I doubt anything will ever knock The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes out of the top 30 there.

He's very upfront about the self-publishing business so he may reveal to us how well he did.

His book The List is currently #4 in Prime eligible popularity.
Run by Blake Crouch is #6. Both recently were free to all.

Well I think this is the first time I've got RSI from buying books online, and not from reading them.

Thanks for the tip, picked them all up. Didn't have most of these. However did accidentally purchase one for $2.99, and like most here decided to keep it, considering all the freebies.

Awesome....Joe Konrath is one of my favorite authors...most of the short stories are in other collections, but there are some here that I didn't have that I wanted.

I'm kind of sad the Jack Daniels series has come to an end (presumably), but I've still got the Short Story collection as well as some Harry McGlade stuff to read in that universe!

Only read Serial which was I thought was as good as any of Stephen King's short story output. Will definitely read a bit more now.

Didn't get everything but got a bunch. I'm unfamiliar with his work, which is why I held back. Great Christmas present. I've now added about 10 titles this month for less than $5.00.

the bibliography is an absolute mess. i shouldn't need a slide rule and spreadsheet to figure out which books i already have. theres no excuse for 50 different incarnations of the same handful of stories/novellas.

i hate to be a d*ck because i like these guy(s) but a large amount of any profit has gotta come from sheer customer confusion.

From a quick look at the descriptions, it looks like many of these are already in some of the collected stories books.

Serial Killers Uncut = Serial Uncut + Break You + Killers (Killers Uncut = Killers + Birds of Prey) + Birds of Prey

65 Proof = all but about 2 of the Jack Daniels Stories + 2 other stories (maybe they were renamed?) + Symbios + Shapeshifter's Anonymous + Serial + a lot of other short stories that may not have separate offerings

Double Tap = The Lost Coast + Paris is a Bitch

Fully Loaded = Four Live Rounds + Six in the Cylinder

Horror Stories = Symbios + some from the horror section of 65 proof

A few more have just popped up (I got all of the last lot on the auxiliary account I keep for the free stuff I'm unlikely to read but one day might try so these are definitely new).

They're mostly shorter works, but the first 3 seem to be uncollected, at least not in the freebied collections.

Babe on Board - A Harry McGlade/Jack Daniels Mystery didn't spot it in either the JD collection or the Crime one
Exposed - A Thriller (Chandler Series) says it's a short novel
Wild Night is Calling didn't spot it in any of the collections
KILLERS - A Psycho Thriller available in Killers Uncut and Serial Killers Uncut
The Screaming (in at least 2 of the horror collections)

I just look at the TOC to find out which ones are in which....I'm not worried about duplicating or anything, most of what I picked up were free or like $3. I'm okay with duplicating to support indy authors

Thanks for these updates. I just now picked these up.

I suspect you may have initially missed "Babe on Board," as I see that I already have this. I'm assuming I picked it up on that initial day they were available for free...but I could be wrong!

I would like to see them all stop writing for one week (that would be a combined output of maybe 5,000,000 less produced words, and then have them fix the bibliographic mess they've created.

Not mentioned yet, but one of the short stories I just finished needs additional formatting work.

Am I complaining? -- Not yet, I'm not. I'm offering advice. Let me repeat that for the hard of reading: I'm offering advice. I'll start complaining the moment I have to work at deciphering what I'm reading due to formatting issues.

These look to be fun, mindless reads and I look forward to dipping into them in between some 'heavier' pieces of literature.

I was missing that one, as well. Looks like Ann Voss Peterson added her novels to the promo (all three have her as co-author, although I did see one other of hers that was already free).
