Accelerometer data disappear after some time

I'm trying to write a small app that rotates display automatically based on accelerometer data. It works as expected, but I often get into a state when accelerometer stops sending data. So far I was not able to find a reason for that.
Does anyone use this data? Is it a realiable source for you?
Btw. I get the data after restart whether I set IS_ACCEL or not.

There is a solution for this here. Did you try it?

On yes, thank you. I've made some changes (written in the thread) and it works without my "daemon".
