I sent an e-mail and I didn't get a reply from the customer service, but when I tried to buy a book again today using the coupon code it worked.

I just sent another email I am unable to purchase anything from them coupon or not. Not even Free Books.

I don't think anyone is manning the ship over there right now. I have sent two emails requesting access to my bookshelf (can't even do that, let alone buy anything) and they have been ignored.

They never actually responded to my email, it just started working again so keep trying.

If I don't see anything fixed or responded too in the coming week. I'll go to their Facebook and complain there.

I was only able to use the coupon 4 times. Then they give me an error when I try to complete a 5th purchase after putting in the CC info in.

Same here and now I can't access my bookshelf or purchase anything even Free books.

For those of you who had 4 successful coupon uses, and then got your purchase/bookshelves blocked during the actual checkout on a 5th try (rather than while trying to enter the coupon code again or however it works):

Might it be possible that perhaps it's your CC that blocked and failed the purchases due to some sort of automated repeated small charge amounts triggering a fraud warning at your CC company?

Because it sounds kind of like this situation in General Discussions where someone tried to buy an unusually large amount via Books on Board, and got the payment held for examination or whatever, and his bookshelf locked until stuff was cleared up.

If it was just that I don't think my Bookshelf would disappear and not being able to get even free books which require no payment method unless the eharlequin account is locked but I can log in and do everything but Purchase books free or paid and see my bookshelf.

Apesmom what email did you use to contact them? I just sent another to their ebook care address before I sent two to their technical ebook address. I am wondering which one is the right one?

I sent it to ebooks_techissues@harlequin.ca
The first went out on 12/26, then another on the 27th.

Still locked out of purchase/bookshelf on my account.

But tried a 2nd account I have (long story) on a diff computer and no problemo. Card and coupon worked beyond the 4. No idea why it's different than the other, but that is an option.

It's still not working for me either beyond the initial four purchases, nor can I access my bookshelf. Very annoying.
