What electronic gadget are you hoping for/ getting/did you get for Christmas? - Page 2

I didn't get any gadgets this year, but I talked my parents into going in with me to get my sister a kindle touch, case, and amazon gift card. My sister has been kind of resisting the whole ereader thing, but I knew she would love it if she got one. And she did! She went totally nuts over it! I just created another ereader convert.

I got a Sony PRS T1 in their pretty red shade (I had to see it in person before buying because I could not tell precisely what it looked like from a picture).

Despite the fact that there were several on-line price cuts, I chose to buy mine in person because I don't like buying gadgets via mail order. I was going to wait for my birthday in the spring, but just could not resist. I gave my husband my Kobo Touch and we consider these our Christmas/Anniversary gifts to each other (we were married in January '06)

Samsung Galaxy Player 5 (replaces Nook Color)
Samsung Galaxy Player 4 (replaces iPod touch 4)
Sansa Clip Zip (replaces Sansa Clip+)

Still considering a Kindle Touch to replace my Kindle Keyboard.

I got a GOgroove Panda Pal portable stereo speaker. I love to watch movies on my Nook Color but I prefer to hear the sound track without wearing ear buds. It's very portable. The sound quality isn't great but I'm happy with it for what it is.

I got a Nook Tablet. The family member who gave it had no clue that I have a Fire. I'm keeping it though. It's a nice little device, and I have a fair amount of stuff in my B&N library still.

I lost my phone a month ago so had to get a new one a few weeks ago, opted for a Samsung Dart smartphone. I consider that part of my Christmas

I do the prepaid thing since I'm not a heavy phone user (use it for traveling/emergency, $50 prepaid card usually lasts me a year) I'm really liking the phone, it does have wifi but I don't see me using it for that, the easy text feature has been great w/my sister. She was always texting me, but I couldn't figure out how to respond on the old phone, my BB brain couldn't figure out how to shift those multiple letters on each numbered keypad on the old phone lol

I added the Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens to my camera bag a few weeks ago and am eyeing the Fuji X10 as my all around fun supplemental camera in the near future. I have some Christmas gift money to go towards that

I added the Sony PRS-350sc based on a MR thread. Already have a T1 which I enjoy immensely but it's bulky to carry. Unfortunately, my 505 seems to be dying.
