Black Line Around K4 Screen

hehe... see this is what i was thinking when i suggested a graphite model might be availble in the future.

i know that it might not be a huge issue for everyone but i really did find (after using my graphite k3 for the past year) that my eye kept being drawn to that black (dark grey) line around the screen.

i guess a skin that makes everything else black would solve the problem! hehe...

For me it's not about the line around the screen. I don't even notice it but the contrast on my K4 isn't the best so I bought a black skin to make the text pop out more. I've already change the font to a darker font which helps some but in normal lighting the K4 just isn't as easy to read as my K3.

me too... kindle touch is already heavy as it is..... by the way, why does the demo unit on Staple and Best Buy so much lighter than the actual K4Touch?

hmm... since Amazon has excellent return policy, if I were you I would just order one and use it for a week to see if it still bothers you. I've not heard anyone complaining about this on the K4 yet(except you). I used mine for almost a month before I just gave it away, didn't even notice it.
