We seem to have acquired a Black Friday in France too

, at least at the Apple Store and I think a few others. Too bad I don't have anything to buy, except for an iPhone but it's still too expensive. Besides, I don't want to buy at the Apple Store, they are too expensive and I don't like their shipping options.

Well target had kindle keyboard 3g for $85 so that was a decent sale.

You can buy ebooks for others, but (so far) not many do.

You can even program them for delivery Christmas morning (at least, on Kindle).

I dont fall for this Black Friday crap. Most of the items on sale you can get close to those prices at any point during the year. Not worth fighting crowds to save an additional $10-$20 off a tv from what you would normally see it on sale for.

went to Wal-Mart at 9:30 this morning and purchased all the "specials"... gifts I wanted that people stood in line at 10pm last night for. My check out line was 2 people in front of me lol!

Ebates 10% ($1.77)
Credit card cash back ($0.23)

Final cost $8.76

Do you think my big purchase will save the retailers this year?

I ordered a Nook Touch ($80 & free shipping) from Best Buy online.
It will take a few days to get here, so i'm really in suspense to see how it will work out for me.

Cool. I'm switching to Android and going with the Galaxy Player. My son wanted a new iPod touch 4, so I planned on giving him my 32GB once I got my Galaxy.

Then I saw the touch for $145 at BestBuy.com ($195 = $50 GC), so I ordered one. I may or may not keep it; just depends on the availability of speaker docks for the Galaxy.
