PRS-T1 NEW UPDATE FROM SONY - Page 2

I just downloaded the 11040 update. Later when I synched my PRS-T1 the Settings menu on the device only shows one category! One book now appears three times. I'm fearful I'll discover other issues. Hope Sony knows about this problem.

Have there been any official comments about whether the next firmware update will fix the disappearing italic and bold text?

So, the link indicates a T1 firmware update is scheduled for the end of month. Looks like the schedule is about slip as I could not find a firmware update on Sony's site.

Are any of you T1 owners finding it through your device or the Reader PC software?

I'd really like to put this on my Christmas list, but not until the known issues are resolved since I have other options.

KEN401 I'm in the same situation. Luckily my local Sony store offers layaway service. My fiancé put on for me about a month ago. They said we have up until Christmas eve to pick it up. That way I have one there but the warranty doesn't start until it's. Completely paid for and picked up, I have until about Jan 23 to bring it back for a refund. Hope it's all sorted out by then.

Not a bad plan wytwolf. The longer you wait, the cheaper they will get anyway!
