Yep, this is a great place to get tips, bargains and views of other people on not just the e-reader you own, but what else is available. Some very helpful people on here.

My obsession with ebooks and ereaders dates back to the Rocket Reader and the days when most ereading was done on Palm Pilots. So I discovered MobileRead even before I owned an ereader.

I found the site while shopping for an e-reader. I was (and am) impressed with the folks who post here. I have learned (and continue to learn) a lot from the posts, and I appreciate the tone of civility. People are courteous, helpful, and treat each other with respect. It's a great place all the way around.

I found MR whilst looking into this wierd " eReading " ... and bought all 4 of our eReaders based on the info / advice found in the forums here !

Anyone I know who shows interest in my eReaders, in eReading or who has just purchased an eReader ... I point them to the " Number 1 " eReading site ...

Honestly it really is in my mind the Number 1 site ...

Before I even purchased my Kindle, I had already found MobileRead. It was the first site I found that specialised in e-reading. Where better to go before making my first e-reader purchase.

Of course, I decided to stay even after my purchase was decided.
