The latest firmware update for the T1 says it improved DRM compatibility (whatever that means). I just thought I'd report that after the firmware update this problem book now works on my T1! Thanks again to everyone for trying to help. Happy Holiday Season as well!

Great news! Thank you so much for your update! I've been following the topic even though I haven't had anything to add to it.

(And I'm totally with you on the "Problem to solve" thing. Even though I know how to de-DRM, it would bug me to have to to get a legally bought or borrowed book to work!)

Exactly! It was just weird that it worked on older Sony models and not the newest.
