Canadian spelling, eh? How about text to speech with Canadian accent, eh? Oh, oh, you can get Canadian spelling in the French language section.

Canadians ought to just stop their whining and be happy with the spelling their betters provided.

Just so you know: Canadians do not put "eh" on the end of every sentence. In fact when I tried it once talking to a friend in a public place someone came up and accused me of being an American! interesting eh?

P.S. I am not trying to start an argument about things like google voice just trying to show that Americans only think were the same as them when it is convenient! |

As for measurements, it's a mess in Canada. While most of the time both the metric units and imperial units are listed, for usage, it's mostly (again, in my experience): Speed and distance are in kilometers/meters, drinks and liquid in general are in liters, and food is in grams/kilograms, height is feet and inches, a house is square feet, electronics are measured in inches... Outside temperature is in Celsius, but cooking is mostly in Fahrenheit. It's not easy being Canadian. ![]() |

At least here in Canada we didn't need to have Harry Potter translated.

Any way can I assume from the responses that no one knows the answer to my original question? I just don't see why I cant just by ebooks from a UK bookstore! If its fine for me to order actual books then whats the problem for ebooks? And really, how many people would choose to buy from a UK bookstore? I don't believe it would be enough to put US publishers out of business!
