Ha! i was going to say no, don't go with the graphite! I originally got the KSO graphite (I think) Wifi only, and didn't like the wifi only, and hated the color, so when I returned it for the 3G version, I got the white, which I much prefer.

(I'm assuming that the graphite is that hideous color somewhere in between grey and brown? I really found it like it awful! But of course, everyone has different taste! )

Anyway, I got the Nook Color, recently, and did the SD card adjustment so now it's an Android tablet, and my husband said why don't you sell your kindle then? No way! I love it, esp. the KSO version, and have no intentions of getting rid of it. The two devices are for different things for me.

Ok now that it should be here I need to jailbreak for the screen saver hack right?

I was looking last night at some of the TTS demo and I heard something... does it not pause at the end of a sentence? It seemed like it was reading too fast and too much run-on.

There is a speed setting. It does an okay job. If you got a special offers Kindle the screensavers hack wont work. Congrats on your new Kindle!

As long as it's not a special offers Kindle it will work.

Yep you get really good discounts owning a Special Offers version. We're talking really nice money savings here. These aren't your clip coupons save pennies type of deals, they are huge savings.

Mike, congratulations!

I am not sure about your question. I have a "My clippings" file with a couple of recipes from a free amazon daily blog that I'd like to move to the computer and print. Maybe you have to plug the Kindle in to the PC to do that, not sure.
