I don't even look at my Kindle when I'm not reading, so I couldn't care less what is on the screensaver. Perhaps, if I had some good money saving opportunities, I would actually pay attention to it. A special offers Kindle is on my wish list.

Who looks at screensavers? Certainly not me. I have a KSO and this is how I avoid looking at the ad screensavers:
  • when I'm done reading, I close the cover and slide the power switch off
  • when I'm ready to read, I slide the power switch on and open the cover
At no point in this process are the screensavers ever visible. How simple is that?

Which totally makes sense. I don't do that, because I'm not bothered by the screensavers, and even when they show up, it takes like, what 30 secs for me to get the device on so I don't have to look at them anymore.

But mostly, I'm curious about them, and I always check in every couple of days to see what the new offers are, because I've saved a fair amount of money with them!

I don't really understand why people find them such a big deal, but....
