Whoohoo! I had a big cart, so this is great. @Mikaelind, these are weekly coupons, and they're 'normally' good until Wednesday, even though they''ll tell you they expire earlier. No guarantees, of course...

Resisting is getting easier these days! I'm doing a TBR decimation challenge on Goodreads, and I have to read 5 of my bought books before I can buy 1 new book. I started Aug 1 and promptly derailed when I bought the 32 Georgette Heyer books

But I've been very good since then - I only bought one book in September that was a deal too good to pass up, and one book so far for October, which was the next book in an ongoing series I'm currently reading.

July was the last time I bought a book from Fictionwise - that's seems sooo long ago

These days my hoarding is restricted to free books

I'm not a member, merely an occasional commentator. I don't have a problem; hoarding is perfectly natural behaviour for dragons.

And I shall be making use of this weekend's coupon to additionally pick up first-in-series/sample author test titles of untried historical mysteries from Belgrave House which are not available in the public library's e-collection, which seems to have gotten their Regency romance reprints instead.

At $5 a pop regularly and DRM-free, if it works out these will be a pretty good deal at less than $2.50 and still DRM-free after coupon for previously printed backlist books from publishers like Kensington (and Harlequin, for the romance readers).

And I will be Supporting A DRM-Free Publisher Which Reprints Nice Books That I Can Get Dirt-Cheap When Fictionwise Offers Coupons Which Will Encourage Them To Offer More Nice Books And More Coupons, so win-win!

Actually, it'll be a slightly worse off place, because then who'll be buying the DRM-free MultiFormat books and thus showing that there's a viable market for non-self-published stuff not locked to any particular device?
