I just got my first kindle, so I only have the regular @kindle.com address. If I have a pdf book that I want to convert to azw format, do I just send the file to my @kindle.com address? Is there any charge for doing this? Thanks in advance!

Attach the pdf to the mail, mention 'convert' as the subject, and send. If you download to kindle via wifi, there's no charge.

Whoa... this is big news... I'm surprised this is the first I've heard of it!

WiFi Kindles only have a @Kindle address. The Free.Kindle is for Kindles with 3G.

I can't use the Free.Kindle anymore. I wonder if this is because I own a K4 and they both have the same Email address?

How long does it take to convert a pdf after emailing it to the @kindle.com address? I e-mailed the file 5 minutes ago, and nothing is showing up in my amazon account

nvm, it's qeued to be sent, but my wifi is not working...?

I find it slow at times. I don't use PDF but just sending a mobi book can take some time. Keep checking your email address for a failed message. You can also check your personal documents on the MYK page.
