Isn't it assembled in China? Labor costs there are not exactly large...certainly it's under a dollar a device

What is strange to me, is that the chart linked in the original compares the Wifi only Fire to the Wifi only Playbook, and the 3G iPad. Seems a bit, off kilter and unfair. Why not compare Apples to Apples, instead of the Orange of an iPad?

The thing that jumped out at me on that chart is the Flash memory pricing-I just highly doubt those 3 companies are paying the same dollar/GB for Flash memory.

Especially for varying amounts. 8 in the Fire, 16 in the Touchpad, 32 in the iPad. Pricing doesnt work that way.
