I understand that by "Amazon should" you meant in part that they should do it to avoid confusion. I think there is an element of deliberateness to any resulting confusion. |

However, the difference is very clear on Amazon's website, where you have to select with or without SO's. |

i see that amazopn uk have shaved £2 off of the K3 prices.
so now we have k3 at £109, new, non-touch- no keyboard at £89. So will the kindle touch slot somewhere between those 2 prices ( if we ever get it over here ? ) £99 is the obvious price point ? |

The WiFi Touch is priced at $139 in the US. That equates to £88.78, plus 20% VAT, which makes £106.53, Amazon's policy appears to be to round up to the nearest £10 minus 1, so I'd expect it to be sold for £109 in the UK.

I understand them making kindle fire a US only offer, but see no logic in holding back the kindle touch |

Very likely the same reason that the iPad 2 was initially released only in the US - manufacturing capacity. I'd expect it to be released here after Christmas, when US demand falls.

Don't feel bad. The base model costs 99 Euros in Germany. It's not you alone. Customs takes its toll everywhere.
