Questions for pocketbook representative:

Q1: why don't you use e-ink pearl for the new reader ? (some people like me have a poor eyesight and they can't use a vizplex)

Q2: have you intention to use pearl display in the future ? If yes, when ?

I had a hard time finding another one, as they stopped selling it in the UK, and we left a PB360 on the train! I finally got it from amazon through a german reseller last week, but today it has already disappeared (it is going for a couple of pounds more here).

You've right. We had to give our complete stock of PB360 back to Pocketbook a couple of months ago.

They are using same design as previous models. The only difference - 3G is not installed any more and all readers will get touch screen (digitizer).

It will be available in 3 colours (dark grey, white, silver) - same colours like the predecessors

On second thought, I can live very well without 3G and a digitizer is a welcome addition. I wonder if the SD card works well - as the 302 corrupts the FAT of my SD cards all the time.

Still, I'd rather have color e-ink or Pearl too. Maybe I'll skip this gen, and wait for the next.

Guess I'll wait for the reviews before making up my mind.

Do you know what the price will be? I'm thinking about buying a another reader 5-6" to just carry around in my bag. At this point I'm thinking about either a PB360 (old or plus) or the new sony. PB360 seems more sturdy, but the sony might come with the Harry Potter books.

I really would love also something to carry arround. I have a Sony prs950 wich I love but is a bit too big for my taste.
I love how the PB 360 looks but in case I buy something, I buy it with pearl or colour e-ink. And I hoped so much , that now PB will come with a big screen colour modell, I am disappointed with it
And also I don't see 100Euro for PB 360 ( the older modell ) so cheap, since on Ebay I can see the 360plus for 145USD. And in case the price for the PB 360plus will be even higher here, in Europe, I will buy for sure rather a Sony 350 or 650

Some people say that pearl does not differ much from a regular e-Ink...

The problem is that you are forbidden to sell those to Europe, so you do not compete with higher European prices. I have looked also at ebay and Amazon and all the sellers refuse to ship them to Europe (but will happily ship to Africa, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic ... Anywhere, really).
Another problem is, that those sellers in Europe - the very ones you are forbidden to compete with - Do. Not. Sell. PB 360PLUS.

If they would try to read a programming pdf document with code snippets usually written with small gray font than they'll change their mind. For other book types vizplex might be ok.
