O.K., seriously, I think an official announcement on a Nook Color 2 by end of September and the same on a Kindle 4 (with touch screen) and maybe color by end of October (Color may come later), and a price announcement on a 16GB Lenovo A1 between now and the middle of October for $199.99 in the US.

btw.. i'm loving my nook color..
there were some minor complications when i first started downloading my apps and e-books.. but those were all resolved
and i'm thoroughly enjoying reading pdfs and other course materials on my way to work in the subway.. it's great

Some of the speculation has been a10 inch tablet optimized for and intended for the education market at a lower than ipad price, perhaps taking advantage of BN closer than Apple ties to textbook publishers? Seems a reach to me unless a wireless keyboard and doc is available.

I had K1 and I have K3.. love them.. but I bought NC on a gadget whim and I use it for books and surfing in bed. Its an awesome device, I don't see how they can make it much better.

As much as I like e-ink, I'm a sucker for color. I may pick up Amazon tablet but I'm done with e-ink until a color model is released.

its a clone of the Playbook, if anything. dual-core is not insignificant. Combined with Amazon's ecosystem and 20,000 apps, Im not sure it qualifies as a clone other than being the same size.
