I just installed v5.8 on my PE without a problem... I got it at the address: http://www.freewarelovers.com/android, look for google maps...
I don't know how to locate myself either, since there is no GPS in the PE... |

Installed 5.8 yesterday, and it found Rio de Janeiro without any problem. Still can't get a location. Get the message to set the location in my system settings... Running a rooted PE, but can't find a location setting...

Installed the 4.6.0 that Syclone recommended and that still didn't do anything for my location. I then installed "test1.0_updated-ermine-09" which is a modified version of ermine and that fixed My Location problem. There still isn't a option in settings, but it just started using the Wi-Fi to put my location on the 4.6.0 map. Thanks Syclone for the help!
