to use the "jump to" function you must first press menu and when you do that then the page number and location number show up along the progress bar.

To see the position/page number, just press the "Menu" key.

Yeah, one has to remember to press the Menu button. Not as convenient.

alansplace - yes, but I am usually doing that after someone else has moved my position!

R22, you could make a "bookmark" before you close the e-book, so you can find your place more easily next time.

To do that, when the book's open, press the Menu button, then go down to "Add a Bookmark" and select. When you want to find that place later, open the book, press Menu, then select "View Notes & Marks." You'll see your bookmarks there (the latest one will be listed last).

Alternatively, just press "Alt+B" to add (or remove) a bookmark.
