I like listening to piano and classical music while I read. I also like to listen to movie soundtracks which match the book I am reading. I use my iPod or the stereo, however. I don't listen to music on my Kindle like I do on my Nook or Sony because the Kindle player is experimental and lacks organization compared to my other readers. My Nook Color has the Pandora app which is great to pair with reading.

Currently listening to the Suckerpunch soundtrack, whilst reading on the bus to work - don't do it everyday as I can't be faffed with earphones but handy if I fancy drowning out the chattering.

The Kindle is ideal for listening to podcasts, like the intelligent ones available free on the BBC website (particularly Radio 4 if you like sensible talk). Only downside is that the Kindle won't 'remember' its place within any given podcast once you switch functions.
