I was explaining that many configurable aspects of Calibre, such as custom columns and saved searches automatically become browse buttons in the Content Server. You haven't confirmed if you know that.
I confirm that I do know and use custom columns and saved searches. I did explore all available interfaces of CS. And I still think than the lack of ability to narrow down the selection using GUI only is the weak point.

I am new to Calibri but well design Web interface should allow any visitor to browse site without any special knowledge.

I cannot explain it better so I will stop here. Thank you for your responses.

If I understand your request, you'd like multiple restrictions in the content server, like what is available in the tag browser by CTRL clicking multiple selections. Even though it's currently possible with the search bar, you want no specialized knowledge to do that?

I'll note that even CTRL clicking in the GUI's tag browser takes some specialized knowledge. I'll also note that Calibre isn't really design for public access by "any visitor." It's designed for the book owner to get remote access, as most libraries are primarily full of copyrighted books.

Still, ease of access is always desirable. To do what you want is possible, but would require significant work. If you really want it considered, you should post an enhancement request. An easier alternative would be to just add a link to a static "Search Help" page or a link to the relevant page in the manual that would explain how to type a complex search into the search bar. That would only take a few moments to add.
