It's posted at the top of this thread that Collins Bookstores(AU) will be selling it, apparently starting in September the rumour is that it will be <=$160 if Borders AU want to be compettive they will have to at least match that. Personally if I was buying it I would want to support the newbie in the market(Collins) rather than Borders especially as you will be able to buy it instore at Collins.

An update. Got an email back from borders saying it was lost in transit and will be processing a refund in the next 5-7 days. Ill just get it when it comes out in Australia or wait for new kindle.

Yes AusPost. I was glad I was home when mine was delivered, otherwise the postie sometimes just drops them at the apartment block door (not cool). The better postie will leave that little collect from postoffice note.

Sorry to hear that. Whatever ereader you get, I'm sure you'll like it.

I wish Borders US offered multiple shipping options. I would have happily paid $20ish shipping instead of $9 shipping if the former had included tracking and 2 weeks shipping time, instead of being shipped on the cheap via Germany for up to 3-4 weeks.
