Still on 2.10.2 I never had this issue before.

Then suddenly out of nowhere three times in a row.

But for me it was sufficient to leave the Recent Opened list
by pressing the Device Manager button in order to prevent any
part of the current running software to reference the CF card.

Then simply ejecting and inserting the card again... voilà...
the contents was back!

No reboot required but still the Recent list gets cleaned that way...

So... for me this is some mechanical flaw that makes the card come
loose through vibrations (transporting or just handling the iLiad).

Seems risky to hot-swap the card. Maybe we need an "unmount" command just to be on the safe side?

Point is the card already got "swapped-out"...

The damage would already be done.

I'm just "hot-inserting" again...

I think sometimes there is an element of pilot error involved...

A couple of days ago I booted the iLiad an the CF page was
empty.

I pushed down on the CF card and it fully seated and came
to life
