There are a ton of badly formatted public domain books available. I know when I bought my Astak (no longer have it) it came with some 500 books, mostly not worth the effort.

The obsessive side of me is thankful that when I go to the sale and click on one of the titles it ends up being the regular price; the compulsive side of me is really annoyed.

Of course that didn't stop me either.

It's been on my radar for a while now and it was on sale, even outside the US.

I decided to keep So You Want to be a Wizard but realized I bought the international version instead of the millennium version. So I emailed support and was refunded my money because the millennium version is not yet out. But I've decided to buy that version when it's out. I will clean up the code and email support asking if they'd like a copy of the cleaner version.

I highly recommend the Young Wizard series to anyone who likes fantasy. And they're nothing like Harry Potter, except that both involve young people who are called wizards. They also pre-date Harry Potter by a couple of decades.

Start with So You Want To Be A Wizard?.
I agree it is a good series. I have around 4-5 of them in paperback that I found second hand. I'll have to see about finding the series in ebook format in the future. Much more portable that way.
