Since issybird is in the US, like me, and mine came with a wall charger, it might just be either bad luck. My understanding was that all retail packaged 950 came with a wall charger, but that a refurbished unit might be missing its charger.

That said, if the packaging clearly stated a wall charger was to be included, I'd be pretty angry too if it wasn't there... charging through USB takes forever.

New 950s have a A/C adapter, but refurbished 950s don't seem to come with an adapter.

No crying at mobileread, you say? That's strange. I cry here all the time.

To narrow down the adapter discrepancy: Where did people who didn't get one buy their 950s?

I ask because I bought mine at Best Buy. Since mine had the adapter, you'd think other customers would have similar luck.

Mine was a refurb bought from Sony. At my price I wouldn't have minded not getting the adapter, except that the paperwork said it was included. It's been over two weeks since I phoned about it and they said they'd send one. Rather a shoddy performance, all in all.
