Really? There are plenty of folks who like the keyboard and the buttons. Touch screens do not cure cancer or make life oh so wonderful. The hyperbole associated with Touch Screens is so out of whack.

My 11 year old Nephew uses the family Kindle, it is pretty much his, and loves it. He has had no problems with using it and knows that if he buyss a book that he is not authorized to buy he will lose access to his Kindle. The other plus is that I can lend him books from my account for him to read.

and give that same kid a choice between a touchscreen and a push button one and I guantree you he will pick a touchscreen over a push button.
there's a more of "wow that's cool" factore especially on smaller children.

again I stand by by comment giving a child a kindle over a touchscreen device would be like give a teenager a colecovision instead of an X Box.

Tell that to my nephew who loves his Kindle. He could care less that it does not have touch screen.

You are reading a book not playing video games. Just because something is apparently very important to you does not mean that it is important for every one. It is really, reall old and silly.

Tell me the specifics of this 'guarantee' of yours. Maybe there is a way for those of us who know you're wrong to make some money on this....
