Page 48 has instructions for mounting and unmounting USB connections ("Moving Files using the mini-USB Connector" under "Personalizing" in the Table of Contents).

Not necessarily intuitive, but easy enough once you get it.

Thanks Filark got it working now. It wasn't Calibre or the PE. They play exceedingly well together. The netbook was just not seeing the PE at all mounted or unmounted. Now it does (most of the time anyway). I moved the library to the sd card and have tons of room.

I've got my EE week, but very frustrating. First of all, I can not university where I was on the WIFI. University WIFI require complex settings, the school currently only IPHONE instructions for use. I set up countless times, but always can not open the page. Secondly, EINK screen horizontal screen reading, only a rotation, so if the LCD screen on the desktop, EINK erect, watching EINK on the PDF, while notes on the LCD will become fantasy.
To this end, I am very upset.

First thing. To connect to the university WiFi you need to know three things, SSID, security and password. You should be able to get that information from the system administrator. I have a secured network both at home and work and have no problems connecting. The main thing you MUST get correct is the security key - get a letter or number wrong and you will never connect.

Next thing, why would you want to use the full size edge that way round? The large 10 inch LCD screen is more than adequate for writing on in the normal landscape mode, I use it that way all the time.

Maybe you are confused and in fact have the smaller Pocket Edge, referred to here as a PE and not the much larger Edge (EE) in which case I can appreciate your rotation problem.

Have you added the pdf to your library yet? I usually get into my reader by hitting the library button, not reader.
