This is good to know, I'm thinking of getting a Nook for my sister. We have pretty similar taste in books, but if both are on my account then any books my sister buys will be charged to my credit card. I don't want to have to pay for all of her books and worry about that. So just to clarify how this social sharing of purchased BN ebooks works, you would have to physically have a micro SD card to put into both Nooks? Since I don't live near my sister this doesn't seem like it would be very practical.
Would it work to put some of the ebooks on my NC onto a micro SD card and then send it in the mail to my sister (and the other way around)? I realize this isn't too convenient or fast, but I would much rather spend the money for a stamp if it saved me from purchasing a couple books at full price. |

You can send her the epub file of the book via an email attachment, assuming it isn't too large (epubs usually aren't big). She then saves it to her harddrive and then copies it to her tethered Nook. The ebook file does NOT have to be on an SD card on either device.
