Gunner and Emausan - I just downloaded the app to my PC using Gunner's idea. Okay, lets see if I can get it to install.

It installed.

Curious. Lately, I've noticed my PE takes quite a while to get a WiFi connection, and this morning I plugged in my USB/ethernet adapter and waited, and waited... It never connected.

Then I powered-off my PE and brought it back up and it connected to WiFi immediately -- I've been hibernating it for probably two weeks. The wired interface also works fine now.

I know this is rudimentary, but I haven't seen a reboot suggested here!

Installed the app (Wifi Analyzer by farproc), and I still have the same problem. Way over my head. Router is set to Channel 6.

I'm connected. Not quite sure how I did it. First I learned that I could download apps by googling them etc. WeFi (not a typo) helped a lot. Allowed me to see how I was connected. I know that the information is elsewhere but it helped. Also like WiFi Analyser. Turned off the pocket edge and the router multiple times.I had created multiple attempted connections to the router as part of trying to figure out why I wasn't connecting. Recreated the connection and bingo I connected.

So to summarize: (a) Power off the router, (b) Power off PE, (c) download and use WeFi, (d) download and use WiFi Analyser, and (e) delete (know as forget) all PE to router connections.

I know it is not definitive, but somewhere in this material, you can find a way to reestablish your WiFi connection.

I can only say again that participants in this string were very helpful. Without their help I wouldn't have known step (a) & (b), and (c) & (d).

glad to see it worked out in the end! I think it might have been e that did it, I probably should have remembered that that would have done something...
