Yeah, like I said, it works pretty OK for me as I described. Small footprint applet. Hope it gets better but indeed, serviceable as it is right now

If so, to make sure you are using sort By Collections:

1. Click the Home key
2. Look at the heading line just above your first entry (something like 'Showing All 200 items By Collections')
3. If it says anything other than 'By Collections' on the right side of that line then you are aren't sorting by Collection
2. Click the top bar on the 5 way rocker to go up until you are on the heading line above your first entry
4. Click the right bar on the rocker to go right which will change the line to a list of choices (Most Recent First Title Author Collections)
5. Highlight Collections by going to the right and click the centre button on the rocker switch

Otherwise, duplicate books does sound like the most likely issue. Try picking the first book after your collections and adding it to a collection, and then seeing if it disappears from the list.

Thanks meme

2 . Yes it says showing all 138 by collections

I go to the first book after collections press menu but no option comes up to add book to collection

You have to press the right arrow not the menu button to add a individual book to a collection. It's the same menu where
you delete a book.

Solved it

I transferred everything from the kindle to my computer, then deleted all files off the kindle.
I opened all the kindle files on my computer and deleted any files other than mobi files then copied them back to the kindle. The collections were still on the kindle so I added each book I wanted to each collection .All worked fine so now I have 2 pages on home page and very happy.
I think the other book files were the same book in different formats if you get what I mean.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help especially Blossom who stuck with me

Cheers

So glad you got it all sorted out! I thought duplicates might have been the problem.
The thing I learned owning a K3 is adding slowly is best when it comes to organizing your books.
When indexing several books it's best to plug the K3 in so your battery doesn't drain as well.

Enjoy your Kindle!
